Thailand lacks in cyber security[/caption] According to a report submitted by the European ATM security team Thailand is the 2nd most vulnerable location for cyber-attacks over ATM. Global computer security firm disclosed the list of countries where cyber security is not so strong. Indonesia tops the list followed by China and Thailand.
Top Ten vulnerable countries for cyber attacks
Last year a survey was conducted by England's Sophos and top ten countries were found which were prone to online attacks. The list found was

Thailand lacks in cyber security
According to article written by English internet services firm, more than 100 government websites of Thailand have been hacked. More than 85% government websites are used to spread malware in the world. Thailand has a population of 70 million and 30 million are internet users. The country has more than 740 billion E-Commerce exchange over the last year. The increasing cyber security threats have a major impact over the country's economy. Thailand has only 200-300 cyber security experts which are 3 times less than that of Singapore (1500). People need to be made aware about the cyber security threats and information security. Mrs Surangkana Wayuparb the director of Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) said, Thailand urgently needs to set up National Computer emergency team (CERT) to manage cyber security threats.
